WHP-WHS — Working Holiday Program (WHP/WHS)

The Netherlands Working Holiday permit lets young people from 9 partner countries spend up to 12 months experiencing Dutch society and culture. Eligible nationalities include Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Argentina, Uruguay, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The permit runs for one year, is non-renewable, and allows incidental paid work to supplement funds — freelancing is not permitted. The application fee is EUR 85, with a 90-day decision period. Annual quotas apply: 100 places per year for Argentina, Uruguay, Hong Kong, and Taiwan; 200 for Japan and South Korea.
