Under Hong Kong's "Talent Attraction Policy," the program prioritizes vocational training and certifications over traditional degrees, recognizing hands-on expertise vital to the city's infrastructure and competitiveness.
Initial stays run 24 or 36 months by trade, renewable up to 36 months per cycle. Processing takes four weeks. Fees total HKD 1,900 (HKD 600 application plus HKD 1,300 issuance fee for stays exceeding 180 days). A PR pathway is available.
This visa is ideal for skilled practitioners aged 18–40 with vocational training in critical shortage trades who can demonstrate immediate productivity upon arrival in Hong Kong.
