Spain's Internship/Trainee Visa (Prácticas) is a long-stay visa for non-EU students in higher education or recent graduates (within 2 years of graduating). It requires a signed internship agreement or trainee contract with a Spanish host, in a role tied to the applicant's field of study.

Internship agreements allow stays up to 6 months; trainee contracts up to 1 year, renewable to a 2-year total. Applicants must show at least EUR 7,200 per year in financial means and hold private health insurance. The fee is EUR 80. Dependents may accompany the holder, but there is no permanent residency pathway.
