Single Permit for Posted Workers (Enotno dovoljenje za napotene delavce)

The Employment Single Permit in Slovenia, formally known as the Single Residence and Work Permit (Enotno dovoljenje za prebivanje in delo), was introduced to streamline the immigration process for non-EU nationals by combining residence and work authorizations into a single document. This permit implements the European Union's Single Permit Directive (2011/98/EU), establishing a 'one-stop-shop' system where applicants or their employers interact with a single administrative body that coordinates internally with the Employment Service of Slovenia (ZRSZ).

This permit is ideal for third-country nationals who have secured a job offer from a Slovenian employer and intend to reside in the country for the duration of their employment. It serves as the primary gateway for foreign labor across most economic sectors, ranging from manufacturing and construction to specialized services. Unlike specific high-skilled permits, the Single Permit is versatile and can be used for various types of employment, provided the employer can demonstrate a lack of suitable candidates within the local or EU labor market.
