Exchange Student Visa (Type D)

The Slovenian Exchange Student Visa (Type D) is a national long-stay visa designed for non-EU/EEA nationals who intend to reside in Slovenia for educational purposes for a period exceeding 90 days but not more than one year. This visa serves as a primary entry and residence authorization for participants in international exchange programs, such as Erasmus+, or bilateral university agreements.
