Singapore's Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF) lets eligible travellers stop over for up to 96 hours without a formal visa. Run by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, it covers nationals of the CIS, Georgia, India, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and selected PRC passport holders in transit to or from a third country.
It is free and granted at the checkpoint on presentation of a passport, onward ticket and SG Arrival Card. Indian and selected PRC nationals must also hold a valid visa or long-term pass (at least one month's validity) for Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK or USA. No extensions.
This visa is ideal for eligible travellers with a confirmed onward ticket who want a short, fee-free Singapore layover for tourism or brief business.
