S Pass

The S Pass is Singapore's Ministry of Manpower work pass for mid-skilled foreign Associate Professionals and Technicians who hold a job offer from a Singapore-registered employer. New applicants must earn at least SGD 3,300 per month (rising to SGD 3,600 from 1 January 2027), with the threshold scaling progressively by age and sector.

Passes are employer-sponsored, capped by company quota and a SGD 650 monthly foreign worker levy. Standard fees are SGD 105 to apply and SGD 100 on issuance. Initial passes run up to 2 years and renewals up to 3 years, applications are processed within 10 business days, higher-earning holders may sponsor a Dependant's Pass, and there is a recognised path to PR.
