Overview

Transfer within a multinational company to an EU establishment. Managers, specialists, or trainee employees.

The Intra-Corporate Transfer Directive is designed for managers, specialists, and trainee employees moving within a multinational company to an establishment located in Portugal. This visa permits qualified professionals to reside and work legally in the country while maintaining their role within the same corporate group.

Applicants must provide proof of a valid employment contract with the parent company and demonstrate that they have been employed there for at least three to twelve months prior to the transfer.

Transfer to a Portuguese branch or subsidiary of the same group

Role must be as a Manager, Specialist, or Trainee

Minimum prior employment with the company: 3-12 months for managers/specialists, 3-6 months for trainees

Proof of sufficient means of subsistence

Clean criminal record
