Overview
Work and residence permit for managers, specialists, and trainees transferred within multinational corporate groups. Valid for up to 3 years for managers/specialists, 1 year for trainees.
The ICT permit implements the EU Intra-Corporate Transferee Directive. It allows employees of multinational companies to be transferred to Polish branches/subsidiaries.
As of mid-2025, Poland has strengthened requirements: the transfer can only occur if the foreign company owns shares in the Polish business or has common board members, parent company must operate in its home country, and employee must already work for the transferring company.
