Temporary visa for foreign athletes and sports professionals participating in sporting events or competitions in Peru.

The Sports Activity Visa is designed for athletes and their support staff participating in professional sports events in Peru. It requires a contract approved by the Ministry of Labor and is limited to a maximum stay of 90 days. This visa is non-renewable and is strictly for the duration of the sports activity.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must have a valid sports contract signed before entering Peru.

Contract must be presented to the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) and SUNAT.

Must not pose a risk to national security, internal order, or public order.

Must be outside of Peru at the time of applying for the migratory status.

Must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Application Process

The hiring sports entity or legal representative initiates the request through the Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones (MIGRACIONES) in Peru.

Pay the administrative fee (S/ 58.80, code 07567) at the Banco de la Nación.

Submit the required documentation online via the Migraciones platform.

Once approved, the authorization is sent to the designated Peruvian consulate.

5

Schedule an appointment at the consulate to finalize the visa issuance.
