Overview

Temporary visa for clergy, missionaries, and religious workers conducting pastoral or religious activities for recognized organizations.

The Religious Worker Visa (Temporal) is for clergy and missionaries affiliated with religious organizations recognized by the Peruvian government. It allows for pastoral activities and is renewable up to one year. Applicants must provide proof of their religious affiliation and sponsorship from a local organization.

Requirements

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must belong to a religious institution recognized by the Peruvian State.

Must be invited by a religious organization or congregation registered in Peru.

Must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

Must not have a criminal record (Ficha de Canje Internacional may be required).

Must be in regular migratory status if already in the country (if applying for a change of status).

Passport-sized photographs.

Proof of onward travel (flight reservation).
