The Parent Resident Visa enables parents of New Zealand citizens or residents to gain permanent residence. The pathway uses an Expression of Interest system with adult children serving as nominators.
Annual Visa Allocation

The annual cap is 2,500 visas. Selections are conducted from two separate pools: the legacy queue for Expressions of Interest (EOI) submitted before 12 October 2022 and the ballot queue for EOIs submitted on or after that date.
