Overview

The Dutch Residence Permit for Seasonal Labour lets non-EU workers take cyclical jobs in Netherlands agriculture and horticulture — greenhouse cultivation, fruit picking, field vegetables. The employer applies to IND, arranges housing, and is responsible for paying the applicable CAO wage.

The permit covers up to 24 weeks, costs EUR 254, and does not lead to permanent residence or family reunification. Workers may return under a fresh permit the following season, but the permit itself is non-renewable and tied to a single employer.

This visa is ideal for non-EU nationals seeking short-term paid work in Dutch agriculture or horticulture without needing language skills or prior qualifications.
