Intra-Corporate Transfer Directive

The Netherlands ICT permit (Directive 2014/66/EU) is a combined residence and work permit for non-EU/EEA nationals transferred to a Dutch branch or subsidiary of their existing employer. It covers managers, specialists, and trainees who must have worked for the multinational for at least 3 months before transfer.

Valid up to 3 years for managers and specialists, 1 year for trainees; renewable but with no PR pathway. Salary must meet the Dutch highly skilled migrant threshold (EUR 71,304/year gross for ages 30+). Family members may join and work without restriction. Application fee is EUR 423.

This visa is ideal for employees of multinationals being temporarily relocated to a Netherlands office who need employer-sponsored work and residence authorisation.
