Up to 1-year residence visa for senior decision-makers and entrepreneurs investing in manufacturing, education, hospitality, and other priority sectors, processed in 5 business days.
The MIDA Investor Pass is a strategic visa facility tailored for foreign investors who need to visit Malaysia frequently to explore business opportunities, negotiate deals, or oversee potential investments. It is specifically designed for individuals who are in the early stages of market entry or those currently in discussions with Malaysian government agencies or local partners. By providing a multiple-entry facility with an extended stay duration, the pass removes the friction of traditional short-term business visas, allowing investors to focus on their strategic objectives.
This pass is intended for senior decision-makers, including founders, board members, and C-suite executives, who require a reliable and efficient way to access the Malaysian market. The application process is facilitated through the Xpats Gateway and requires support from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). It serves as a vital tool for fostering foreign direct investment, ensuring that potential investors have the necessary time and access to conduct thorough due diligence and build strong relationships within the Malaysian business ecosystem.
