FDH — Visit Pass (Temporary Employment) - Foreign Domestic Helper

This visa permits foreign nationals, typically female aged 21–45, to work as domestic helpers in Malaysian households. Applicants must originate from approved source countries including Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Laos, and Nepal. The employer must be a Malaysian citizen or permanent resident with stable income.

The permit lasts one year and is renewable annually, with an annual levy of RM 610. Processing takes 3–6 weeks. Work authorization is tied exclusively to the sponsoring employer's household.
