The Entry Permit for Qualified Professionals is a permanent residence pathway for foreign nationals with sustained legal status in Malaysia via Employment, Student, Professional Visit, or Residence Pass. Designed for investors, experts, and professionals certified by relevant Malaysian agencies, this permit requires Royal Malaysia Police security clearance and a Malaysian citizen sponsor.
To apply, confirm your occupation is recognized by a regulatory agency and complete the Entry Permit application with your sponsor attending in person. The process includes interview, PDRM screening, and status checks after 6 months. Upon approval, pay RM120 at Immigration HQ within 30 days to collect the permit.
This visa is ideal for established international professionals and investors who have built significant expertise and financial standing in Malaysia and seek permanent residence.
