Overview

The C/S Sports Activity Visa is a short-stay visa category established under Moldovan immigration regulations to facilitate the movement of athletes, coaches, and support staff for international sporting events. It addresses the need for a simplified entry mechanism for individuals traveling to the country for specific, time-bound athletic engagements. By providing a dedicated category for sports, the visa ensures that participants in competitions, training camps, or professional tournaments can enter Moldova efficiently, supporting the country's role as a host for regional and international sports activities.

This visa is intended for third-country nationals traveling to Moldova specifically to participate in sports contests, training sessions, or related professional sports activities. The ideal applicant is an athlete, team member, or sports professional backed by an official invitation or delegation list. Its distinctive feature is its focus on short-term, event-based participation, requiring applicants to provide documentation confirming their involvement in sporting events, thereby distinguishing it from general business or tourist visas.
