Entry visa for artists and performers working in touristic entertainment venues including hotels and resorts.
The Artist Visa for Touristic Enterprises is a specialized entry permit regulated by the Lebanese General Directorate of General Security. It was established to formalize the entry of foreign creative professionals into the country's hospitality and entertainment sectors. This visa fills a regulatory gap by ensuring that performers, such as musicians, singers, and animators, are legally documented and monitored while working in hotels, restaurants, and other tourist-oriented venues, rather than entering under standard tourist visas which prohibit remunerated employment.
This visa is designed for foreign artists and performers whose professional activities are tied to specific touristic establishments. Ideal applicants include singers, instrumentalists, animators, and circus performers. What makes this visa distinctive is the requirement for a formal work contract and prior authorization from the General Security’s Artist Department. Unlike general work permits, this process is tailored to the short-term, project-based nature of artistic engagements in the Lebanese tourism industry.
Must be an artist or performer (singer, musician, dancer, etc.) recruited by a touristic enterprise.
Must have a valid work contract signed by both parties.
Must be sponsored by a registered artistic enterprise or touristic institution.
Must obtain prior entry authorization from the General Security.
