Requirements

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be invited by a recognized Korean public or private research institution.

Must hold a Master's degree with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience, or a PhD in a relevant field.

Holders of a Master's degree from a South Korean university are exempt from the 1-year work experience requirement.

Must not pose a threat to public order, internal security, public health, or international relations.

No criminal record for offenses such as overstaying a visa.

No history of visa denials or entry bans in the recent past.

The research field must align with the applicant's academic background and the institution's research focus.
