This extension fills a necessary gap for specialized personnel who do not fit the standard business (EB) or employment categories, providing a legal pathway for skilled workers and technicians to remain in the country specifically to complete defined, short-term technical projects or assignments.

This visa is designed for foreign technicians, specialized tradespeople, and skilled experts whose presence is required for specific, time-limited industrial or technical contracts. It is an ideal option for professionals arriving to perform maintenance, installation, or training tasks that are not intended to be permanent employment. To qualify, applicants must have entered Cambodia on an initial E-class visa. Distinctive to this visa is its project-based nature; once the specific technical project concludes, the holder is generally expected to depart or transition to another appropriate visa status if their role evolves.
