Overview

Free visa for employees of international NGOs that hold a memorandum of understanding with Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Courtesy Visa (Type C) is a specialized visa category established by the Cambodian government to facilitate the entry of personnel affiliated with international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have entered into a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kingdom of Cambodia. This visa fills a critical gap in the immigration framework by providing a streamlined, cost-free entry mechanism for foreign professionals, volunteers, and staff members who are officially recognized as contributing to the country's development and humanitarian efforts under established legal agreements.

This visa is specifically designed for employees, volunteers, and staff of registered international NGOs that maintain a valid MoU with the Cambodian government. It is ideal for individuals moving to Cambodia to fulfill specific work or volunteer contracts. What makes this visa distinctive is its 'Gratis' status, reflecting the government's support for the work performed by these organizations, and its requirement for formal sponsorship documentation from the host organization, ensuring that all applicants are vetted and directly linked to recognized development activities.
