Iceland's Long-Term Visa for Remote Workers, commonly known as the Digital Nomad Visa, allows location-independent professionals to live and work in Iceland while employed by foreign companies. Introduced in 2020, this visa is designed for those who want an extended holiday supplemented by remote work.
Applicants are not tax residents and will not be issued a kennitala (Icelandic social security number).
