The e-Conference Visa is a convenient electronic travel authorization designed for foreign delegates attending international conferences, seminars, workshops, or exhibitions held in India. This visa category is specifically intended for short-term professional engagements and is valid for a single entry with a stay of up to 30 days. It is an ideal solution for professionals, researchers, and industry experts who need to participate in events organized by the Government of India, state departments, public sector undertakings, or reputable private organizations. The application process is entirely online, requiring applicants to submit their passport details, a recent photograph, and an official letter of invitation from the event organizers, along with any necessary political or event clearances.

This electronic visa streamlines the entry process by eliminating the need for a physical visit to an Indian embassy or consulate for most applicants. Once the application is submitted and the USD 60 fee is paid, the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is typically processed within a few business days.
