Single-entry visit visa for tourism and family visits with 60-day stay extendable to 180 days total, requires Indonesian sponsor.
The Single-Entry Tourist/Family Visit Visa (C1) is Indonesia's primary tourist visa for extended stays beyond the visa-on-arrival. Issued by Indonesian immigration authorities, it supports tourism, family visits, and transit, requiring a sponsor in Indonesia and proof of sufficient funds (minimum USD 2,000).
The C1 visa grants an initial 60-day stay and is renewable twice (each extension adding 60 days) for a maximum total of 180 days. Processing takes 5 business days via the online e-visa portal. Spouses cannot work, and the visa becomes invalid if you exit Indonesia, as it is single-entry only.
This visa is ideal for tourists and family visitors planning to stay 2–6 months in Indonesia without working, particularly those needing more time than the visa-on-arrival allows.
Visas you can typically switch to from this status.
