B.4 — Golden Visa - Financial Securities Investment (Χρυσή Βίζα Χρηματοοικονομικών Επενδύσεων - B.4)

The Greek Golden Visa Financial Securities route (Type B.4, Article 99 of Law 5038/2023) grants a 5-year renewable residence permit to non-EU investors who place qualifying capital into Greek financial instruments rather than property. Eligible options include mutual fund or AIF units (€350,000), Greek government bonds or a time deposit (€500,000), and listed shares or corporate bonds (€800,000).

The permit covers spouse, children under 21, and parents of both spouses, with no minimum stay in Greece and citizenship eligibility after 7 years of residence. Investments must be held via a Greek custodian for the permit's duration. Employment in Greece is not permitted. Government fees are about €2,000 for the main applicant plus €150 per family member.
