Global Business Mobility — Senior or Specialist Worker Visa

The Senior or Specialist Worker visa is a UK Global Business Mobility route for multinationals transferring senior managers or specialists to a UK office. Applicants must earn at least £52,500, hold an RQF Level 6 or above role, and have 12 months of continuous overseas employment with the linked entity.

Stay is granted for up to 5 years (9 years for high earners), renewable within those caps. No English language test is required. Dependants may join the holder and are permitted to work. The route does not lead to indefinite leave to remain.

This visa is ideal for multinational employees being assigned to a UK branch who hold a senior or specialist role, meet the £52,500 salary floor, and are not seeking permanent UK settlement.
