Overview

Persons employed in the service of the Government of Fiji or the government of another country/territory entering Fiji in the course of their duty.

This exemption status is designed for foreign nationals entering Fiji to perform official duties for the Fijian government or a foreign government. It grants the holder full rights to reside and work in the country for the duration of their employment contract. Dependents of the principal applicant may also apply for exemption status under a separate family category.
