Overview

Spain's Working Holiday visa lets young adults from partner countries — Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, and South Korea — live and work in Spain for up to one year. No job offer is required; the stay is primarily for tourism, with paid work permitted on a supplemental basis.

The visa is valid for one year and is not renewable. Dependents cannot accompany the holder. The consular fee is approximately €80, though amounts vary by bilateral agreement. Processing takes 4–8 weeks. No PR pathway exists.

This visa is ideal for 18–30 year olds (18–35 for Canadians) from eligible countries who want to explore Spain while funding their stay through casual work.
