The Eritrea Official/Diplomatic Visa is a specialized entry classification reserved for foreign government officials, accredited diplomats, and representatives of recognized international organizations traveling to Eritrea on official business. This visa is issued on a gratis (free) basis to eligible applicants. To apply, the individual must present a valid passport that has at least six months of remaining validity beyond the intended date of entry. The application process requires the submission of a completed and signed visa application form (B62.3) along with a recent passport-sized photograph.
