The Religious Worker Residence Permit is for clergy, monks, nuns, and other religious workers invited to serve in recognized religious associations in Estonia. Applicants are exempt from the immigration quota and do not need consent from the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund. No minimum salary requirement applies.

Annual Visa Allocation

1,292 visas per year

Subject to the general immigration quota (sisserände piirarv), which is capped at 0.1% of Estonia's permanent population. The quota is shared across multiple residence permit categories. Citizens of the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan are exempt from this quota.
