Overview

Youth mobility visa for young adults from eligible countries. Valid 12 months. Primary purpose holiday; work supplements travel. Available to Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, Japan, South Korea (age requirements vary by nationality).

The Working Holiday visa is a cultural exchange program designed for young adults from specific partner countries to experience life in Denmark. It allows participants to live in the country for up to one year, primarily for tourism, while providing the flexibility to take on short-term employment to supplement their travel budget. This visa is ideal for those seeking a gap year or an extended international experience, offering a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Danish culture, society, and the local way of life without the pressure of a long-term career commitment.

Participants must adhere to strict limitations, such as not working for the same employer for more than three months and being prohibited from starting their own business. The program is strictly for individuals, meaning family members cannot accompany the applicant. By fostering these international connections, the scheme aims to promote mutual understanding and personal growth, allowing young travelers to gain valuable life experience while exploring one of the world's most stable and progressive nations.
