A residence permit for researchers invited to conduct research in Denmark without being employed by a Danish institution.

The Guest Researcher permit is for academics invited to conduct research at Danish institutions without being on the Danish payroll. It requires proof of a Master's degree and sufficient funds to support oneself. It is a temporary status and does not lead directly to permanent residency.
