Overview

Long-term visa for highly skilled IT and marketing professionals from 13 designated countries working remotely in Czechia, processed within 45 days.

Launched 1 July 2023 under Government Resolution 475, the Czech Digital Nomad Program is administered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It grants a long-term visa to highly skilled IT and marketing professionals from 13 designated countries who work remotely for a foreign employer of 50+ staff or freelance under a Czech IT/marketing trade licence.

Applicants need a STEM degree or three years of IT experience, plus income of at least 1.5x the Czech average gross annual wage (about CZK 831,000). The long-term visa fee is CZK 2,500 and MPO decides within 45 days. The visa is renewable, converts to long-term residence and permanent residence after five years, and family members may apply together.

This visa is ideal for senior IT and marketing specialists from Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, Japan or Singapore working remotely for a foreign employer or freelancing on cross-border projects.
