PEQ — Québec Experience Program (Programme de l'expérience québécoise)

The PEQ was Quebec's fast-track permanent residence program for foreign graduates and temporary workers with Quebec experience. It issued a Québec Selection Certificate (CSQ) within 20 business days — requiring Level 7 oral French — as the first step toward PR. The program permanently closed on November 19, 2025.

Successful applicants obtained a CSQ then applied to IRCC for permanent residence. No job offer was required for graduates. Spouses and dependants could be included. Total fees: CAD 2,615 (Quebec selection $940, federal processing $990, RPRF $600, biometrics $85).

This visa is ideal for former Quebec graduates or experienced workers with strong oral French who had already submitted a PEQ application before November 19, 2025.
