Francophone Community Immigration Pilot

The Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) is a Canadian permanent residence program for skilled francophone workers willing to live and work in designated French-minority communities outside Quebec. Applicants must secure a job offer from an approved employer in one of six participating communities.

Processing typically takes 6 months and leads directly to permanent residence — no draw required. Applicants need NCLC 5 French proficiency and one year of related work experience. Spouses may obtain a work permit restricted to the same community. Total fees are CAD 1,590 for the principal applicant.
