Overview

Short-term visa for visiting family members, receiving medical treatment, or attending to personal property matters in Belarus.

The Private Purposes Visa (Type C) is a short-term visa category designed for foreign nationals who intend to visit Belarus for personal reasons. This includes visiting family members, relatives, or friends residing in Belarus, as well as attending to private matters such as medical treatment or visiting burial sites. This visa is generally issued for a short duration, allowing the holder to stay in the country for a limited period, typically up to 90 days, depending on the specific circumstances and supporting documentation provided.

This visa is ideal for individuals who have personal connections in Belarus or specific private needs that require a visit. To apply, the applicant must provide official supporting documentation, such as an invitation from a Belarusian citizen or a legal entity, or other evidence confirming the purpose of the visit, such as medical records or proof of property ownership. Like other visa types, it requires a valid passport, proof of medical insurance, and a completed application form. It is important to note that this visa does not authorize the holder to engage in employment or other professional activities while in Belarus.
