The Trusted Traveller Programme (TTP) is a streamlined immigration initiative in the Bahamas designed for senior executives, key stakeholders, and professionals who need to visit the country for short-term business engagements, such as meetings, research, or attending conferences. The program allows qualifying individuals to enter the Bahamas for periods of less than fourteen days without the requirement of a standard work permit, provided they are not engaging in any form of gainful employment within the country. This facilitates efficient travel for high-level personnel who contribute to the professional and academic landscape of the nation.

Applicants for the TTP must hold senior management or specialized professional roles, such as CEOs, consultants, legal counsel, or auditors. The application requires a formal letter of request addressed to the Director of Immigration, along with a copy of the passport biographical page and passport-sized photographs. There is a non-refundable processing fee of USD 200 associated with the application. This program is specifically tailored for those visiting for professional purposes and does not cover individuals seeking to organize events for profit or those intending to perform local work.
