Standard Work Visa (Employment Visa)

The Standard Work Visa, or Employment Visa, is the primary legal pathway for foreign nationals to engage in full-time employment within the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established and regulated under the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) framework—specifically pursuant to the Labour Market Regulatory Law No. (19) of 2006—this visa fills the critical gap of providing a structured, employer-sponsored mechanism for long-term residency and labor integration.
