This specialized residency permit is designed for internationally recognized artists, professional athletes, and scientists who wish to reside in Andorra. Family members including spouses and children can be included.

Annual Visa Allocation

50 visas per year

Quotas in Andorra are established by government decree and are not strictly annual; they remain open until the allocated number of permits is exhausted. The most recent allocation (March 2023) provided 50 permits for the 'scientific, cultural, and sporting interest' category and was reported as exhausted in January 2026. A separate quota of 30 permits is typically allocated for 'professionals with international projection'.
